What if We Had Many Hearts?

The most frequent reason for death is heart and cardiovascular disease. This is just a speculation, but what if we had several hearts, say 5 or 10 smaller ones, distributed evenly throughout the body? Imagine this picture.

Multiple hearts cardiovascular system

Just wonder how we would live then. One heart is too unreliable: the body becomes too vulnerable. When there are many hearts in the circulatory system, the loss or damage of one or more is not so critical. And it would become easier to replace them. Of course, the blood vessels still need to be kept intact, but it seems that the reliability of the entire system increases.
