Can a Human Form a Cocoon and Be Reborn?
Imagine that we could form a cocoon so that a human can stay there and rejuvenate. In nature, many species can transform, while some can even go back in development to earlier stages and hence live forever.
How can one achieve that? Only in sci-fi. Maybe future humans will have such genes (evolved or engineered) that will allow them to enter a cocoon stage and exit it after some time, becoming children again. Maybe such a person would partially lose memory while rejuvenating, maybe some properties of that person might change. Many things to contemplate: does it worth it, what could it look like if it happens, and what mysterious science-fiction stories could be written based on this idea.
